I grew up in a family with four brothers, and was fortunate that my mother and grandmother often told me I was beautiful. As an adult, I do believe beauty comes from within, but sometimes I have trouble accepting my weight gain, aging, stretch marks and scars from c-sections. I'm working to improve my own thoughts of self worth, and I believe that everyone is beautiful in their own way.

I'm Mom to three beautiful children, ironically, all boys, just like my childhood family. I believe that every child should have at least one special someone in his or her life they can turn to.

I consider my ability to provide and willingness to help others to be my favorite non-physical traits.
