Most women find themselves somewhere in the middle.The session fee is paid by every client — solo and couples. It covers the complete in-studio experience from arrival to reveal. No images or products are included in the session fee. Those are a separate, intentional decision made either before your session or at your image reveal.
We structure it this way because the experience itself — the hair and makeup, the studio time, the direction, the energy in that room — has its own value completely independent of what you take home.

Because of this, couples sessions are available exclusively with a Collection purchase. The Tease option is not available for couples. Our 0% in-house financing means the experience you want is not limited by the timing of when you can pay for it. Book your Collection up to 18 months in advance and pay over time with zero interest.
Financing is available when you pre-purchase your Collection. Post-session financing options are limited and are not available at the same terms. The best time to take advantage of financing is before your session — when your options are fully open.

Why do I need to purchase before my session?
+We finalize your portrait experience in advance so that everything — your studio time, your sets, your preparation — is fully ready the moment you arrive. It also means the decisions that matter most are made when you have the clearest head, not when you are standing in front of a camera. We do not offer sessions for the experience only — a minimum of one image must be pre-purchased. This protects your investment and ensures that every session is intentional from the start.
What is the difference between The Tease and a Collection?
+The Tease keeps your session to one outfit and one studio set. You pre-purchase a digital image bundle and can add albums and wall art at your reveal. It is the entry point — a complete experience, but a focused one. A Collection upgrades everything — more outfits, premium studio sets, extended time, and a full package of images, albums, and a private mobile gallery app. Collections represent significantly better value per image and per product. Our team will walk you through both options in detail on your call so you can decide what is right for you.
What if I fall in love with more images at my reveal?
+Additional individual images, albums, and wall art can always be added at your image reveal — so there is no pressure to predict exactly what you will want before you see the work. The one thing that cannot be added after your session is more looks. If you want more outfits or sets, that decision needs to be made before you arrive. This is one of the most important reasons to choose a Collection — you walk away with everything and leave nothing on the table.
How does the 0% financing work?
+Our in-house financing allows you to book your Collection up to 18 months in advance and pay over time with zero interest. Everything is handled directly by our team — no third-party lenders, no credit checks, no surprises. Your payment schedule is worked out with your team on your consultation call. Financing is available pre-session. Post-session financing options are limited and are not available at the same terms, so if budget is a consideration, the time to discuss financing is before your session begins.
When do I see my images and how does the reveal work?
+Collection clients receive their image reveal the same day as their session. Solo session clients receive a private Zoom reveal scheduled after their session — or same day if the schedule allows. Most women are surprised. Final images are professionally retouched — refined, not fabricated. Never your shape, never your story.
What is the cancellation and rescheduling policy?
+All payments made to Monica Grimes Portrait Design are final sale and non-refundable — this includes the session fee, any pre-session payments toward an image order, and all product orders once placed. Once an order is placed it may not be changed, altered, reduced, or cancelled. Rescheduling is available under the following terms: one complimentary reschedule is permitted for sessions booked more than 90 days in advance. Additional rescheduling at that timeframe incurs a $250 fee. Rescheduling or cancelling between 90 and 30 days before your session incurs a $500 fee. Rescheduling or cancelling within 30 days incurs an $850 fee. All rescheduling fees must be paid before a new date is secured. No-shows are treated as cancellations within 24 hours. What about Mini Sessions?
+Mini sessions are offered on limited dates throughout the year at a separate investment level. Each event is a different theme with its own pricing and structure.
